NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Luka Doncic, Mavericks 56.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-130) DK
Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic is having an MVP-caliber season with 34.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.6 assists for an average of 53 Points + Rebounds + Assists per game on the season.
Doncic has eclipsed this PRA total in 5 of his last 7 games but has fallen short in 23 of his 41 games on the season for a 54% success rate to the under.
He also has only averaged 44.8 PRA per game in road games with Kyrie Irving on the floor while falling short of 57+ PRA in 11-11 games.
The Philadelphia 76ers have allowed 0 of 96 opposing guard of any variety (point or shooting) to record more than 52 PRA on the entire season.
The 76ers have also allowed the 3rd fewest points (22.59/game) and 10th fewest assists (8.49/game) to opposing point guards. Doncic will have the toughest matchup on the court tonight and he’s also a bit banged up with right ankle soreness.
Obviously, this play isn’t for the faint of heart as Doncic can stuff the stat sheet, but he doesn’t play as well on the road and the 76ers aren’t a pushover on defense.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Kawhi Leonard, Clippers 6.5 Rebounds (-130) DK
Los Angeles Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard has averaged 6.4 rebounds per game while recording 7+ rebounds in 22 of 44 games on the season for a 50% success rate.
Leonard has been crashing the boards recently, clearing this mark in 6 of his last 7 games and he’s been great on the road with 7+ rebounds in 9 of his last 10 games away from home.
The Atlanta Hawks rank middle of the pack in rebounds allowed to opposing small forwards with 7.63 per game. The Hawks also play at the league’s 3rd fastest pace and they fire plenty of shots which results in additional defensive rebounding opportunities.
Paul George is dealing with a groin injury that kept him out of last Wednesday’s game against the Washington Wizards and he could be hampered again tonight.
This game is a back-to-back, but Leonard has eclipsed this rebounding total in 2-3 road games with zero rest on the season.
The total is set high for a Clippers game at 242 and the spread is only 3 so Leonard should see full minutes in a pace up spot. Let’s look for another 7+ rebounds out of Leonard tonight in Atlanta.
