Best NBA player prop bets for Tuesday, 12/27: Porzingis gets forced out of the paint

The NBA brings a 10-game slate to us on Tuesday night with plenty of interesting matchups as always. To start the night the Philadelphia 76ers will aim to tie the current longest winning streak in the NBA as they take on the Washington Wizards. Then later, Jalen Brunson will be taking on his former team the Dallas Mavericks live on NBATV.

You can find all of our picks for tonight’s games here, but for now check out my player prop selections below.

Kristaps Porzingis will inevitably find himself matched up against Joel Embiid during different points tonight. That will make it tough for the Latvian to score inside the paint, considering that Embiid can match his length. Look for the Washington Wizards center to spend more time beyond the arc tonight, attacking from 3-point range. He has struggled for efficiency from out there this month so expect the 76ers to happily give those shots up to him, helping him secure his volume of shots here. Porzingis is still a 32.5% shooter from out there this season and should be able to convert a couple of these here.
