When the Phoenix Suns host the Orlando Magic on Thursday, should we back Deandre Ayton or Devin Booker on the Over for their points prop? Jon Metler shares two of his favorite NBA same-game parlays for Thursday's games using the best NBA odds.
When we needed Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George to go over 24.5 points on Wednesday, he finished the game with 24 points. While Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry dropped 50 points with relative ease as the other leg of the parlay, the George leg stung even more.
I hope nobody brings us as much pain on Thursday as PG13 did on Wednesday night.
There are only a limited number of games on Thursday in the NBA due to March Madness taking center stage, but that doesn't mean there isn't money to be won.

NBA SGP predictions: Thunder vs. Raptors
As part of our NBA best bets for Thursday, I recommended Barnes Under 17.5 points at -120 on DraftKings. Barnes' prop is one point lower on FanDuel, but I still like the Under 16.5 (-106). In terms of straight bets, BetMGM has the Under 17.5 trading at -125 and is the best pick right now.
We can price this prop at -140 for Barnes to go Under the total of 16.5 points since he is projected to score 15.7 points against the Thunder. While FanDuel is trading the same prop at one point less than BetMGM, when you take into account our projection and the difference in the vig, the expected value difference between the two bets is 13% and 15%.
Siakam has failed to score more than 22.5 points in seven straight games. It's likely that you would be all over the Under in this spot if you are a trends bettor, but I despise trends so we will be backing the Over.
As Siakam is projected to score 24.2 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Over 22.5 points should trade at -130 rather than -106. It might also be a good idea to dip your toe into the 25-plus point market with a straight bet if you're feeling a bit more adventurous with Siakam.
NBA SGP predictions: Magic vs. Suns
We're late to the party with Ayton, who opened with a total of 18.5 points on FanDuel, but we still see a nice edge despite the adjustment to his odds. Plus, you can steal three cents of juice from FanDuel by playing Ayton for 20-plus p oints at -110 instead of Over 19.5 points at -113.
Ayton is projected to score 20.9 points against the Magic on Thursday, so we can price this prop at -125. Even though it's a small edge, it's easy to get behind when Ayton's trading at -125 via DraftKings and -127 at BetRivers.
In the past few games, I've bet the Under on Booker's points prop, and nothing will change Thursday. Even without star Kevin Durant, Booker's points total is too high. Booker is projected to score 29.1 points against the Magic, so the Under 30.5 points should trade closer to -145 than -122.
As I write this article, the Under is gaining momentum in the market. For the best price on this prop, you'll have to head to BetRivers, which has the Under 30.5 at -108, and I always recommend straight bets on these props.
