Gallen has been one of the best pitchers in the National League this season. 8 of his last 9 outings have been quality starts, and in his last two against arguably the two best teams in baseball (the Dodgers and Astros) he struck out 19 hitters in 15.0 IP allowing just a combined 3 ER. Milwaukee strikes out almost as much as any team in baseball, they currently rank 4th in the MLB in team strikeouts. Gallen has racked up double digit strikeouts in 2 of his last 4 starts.
