Best MLB player prop bet today 8/17: Soto lifts the Padres in Miami

Juan Soto (SDP) over 1.5 total bases (+105)

Juan Soto has been just what the Padres traded for. As a member of the Padres, Soto is hitting .319 in 47 plate appearances. The concern when backing Soto and his total bases prop is the walks. He leads the league in bases on balls by a wide margin. He's been issued a free base 103 times. The next closest player is perennial AL MVP Aaron Judge with 66 walks. But, Soto not only gets a favorable matchup today but a familiar one as well that I feel comfortable backing.
