One of the top QBs in the NFL last year will be on show when Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals host the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, September 25, 2023.
The Bengals enter the matchup after losing 27-24 to the Baltimore Ravens in their last game on September 17. In that matchup with the Ravens, Burrow had 222 yards on 27-of-41 passing (65.9%) for the Bengals, with two touchdowns and one interception. Joe Mixon totaled 59 rushing yards on 13 carries (4.5 yards per carry). He added four catches for 36 yards. Tee Higgins had eight receptions for 89 yards (11.1 per catch) and two touchdowns against the Ravens.
The Rams are coming off of a 30-23 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Matthew Stafford’s showing for the Rams against the 49ers included 34-of-55 passing for 307 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Kyren Williams carried the ball 14 times for 52 yards (3.7 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. In the passing game, he added six catches for 48 yards and one touchdown. Puka Nacua registered 147 yards through the air after 15 catches (on 20 targets).
