After seeing the performances in Week 1, I thought this line would have been 8.5 or more. With the spread sitting at 6.5 and the game being played in prime time, I'm a little concerned that oddsmakers know something we don't.
There's no reason to believe in Williams this week. He's not a good professional quarterback until the signal-caller proves it on the field. The Bears' defense was incredible against the Titans, but can it really slow down Stroud if the unit is on the field the entire game?
The spread will move to seven by mid-week, so pounce right away as part of your NFL Week 2 predictions. But I'm also going to do a little more studying for this game because this spread really makes no sense.
