Baylor at Iowa State – 12/31/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Baylor Bears and the Iowa State Cyclones will begin Big 12 play in Ames this weekend from the Hilton Coliseum on ESPN. Baylor leads the all-time series 24-20 after winning six matchups in a row.

Baylor improved 10-2 after defeating Nicholls State. The Bears closed the non-conference slate on a strong note, blowing the Colonels out 29 points at home. Baylor is scoring 80.8 points per game, while allowing 65.4 ppg, and shooting 47.1% from the floor.

Baylor is led by the trio of Keyonte Green, LJ Cryer, and Adam Flagler. George is leading the team in scoring as a freshman after scoring 18 points or more in four of the last five games with 16.2 ppg. Flagler scored 20 points last time out against Nicholls, and he’s been sharp in the lead guard role, scoring 16.1 ppg and dishing out 5.2 apg. Cryer went off for a game-high 28 points in the win over UCLA, and he’s averaging 14.9 ppg.
