San Diego Padres starting pitcher Michael Wacha hasn’t pitched since July 1st due to a shoulder injury but was 8-2 with a 2.84 ERA and 73 strikeouts across 85.2 innings prior to that.
Wacha has struggled with Mountcastle throughout his career, allowing him to go 6-15 (.400) with two home runs and 5 RBI.
Mountcastle has heated up along with the weather and is batting .435 (20-46) with two home runs and 8 RBI in August.
