The Bills toppled the Rams, 31-10, on Thursday to kick off Week 1 of this NFL season, and the Super Bowl favorites began to make their case for why you might want to think about getting in on their futures this season. Ken Barkley discussed how you should approach looking at their futures going forward with an update on how h e's feeling about his bet on the Bills to miss the playoffs.
“Some seasons there's no great team, some seasons maybe you don't know who the great team is until midway through a team really starts putting forward a series of great performances … and then it becomes obvious. … It is possible … that Buffalo will be the team to chase for the first six to eight weeks basically,” Barkley said. ” … My decision this week, next week is basically going to be like should you be in now? Even with (the Bills' price) having shortened. I think at the end of the year they will be one of the great teams and the task is figuring out if there will be another one and who that will be, basically. I think they will be one of the great teams … My miss the playoffs bet is tough, that's a tough bet right now.”
