The New York Giants play host to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon in a crucial matchup from MetLife Stadium. The Ravens are coming off of a win on Sunday Night Football last week, sneaking by the Bengals. For the Giants, they've strung together two wins in a row and after last week's comeback victory in England, should be feeling good about their chances being back at home. The two teams last met in 202 wuth the Ravens winning with ease, though this year promises to be a more competitive matchup.

For the Ravens, a 3-2 record hasn't come easy for this group but after winning against the Bengals last week, they'll be hoping that they can make it back-to-back on Sunday. A short trip should help, even though they'll be going on the road still, but they can't take the Giants easily. With a game against Cleveland up next week, Sunday's game is the perfect opportunity for them to link together wins and try to stay atop the AFC North. The Ravens have failed to string together consecutive wins yet this season and with their two losses coming by a combined seven points, this is an opportunity that they won't want to let get away.

A lengthy injury report doesn't help matters for the Ravens but they should have the depth to find success. Nine players have already been ruled out for Sunday's contest, with Kyle Fuller (knee) continuing to be a key absence in the secondary. With a pair of runn ing backs questionable, as well as Rashod Bateman (foot) at wide receiver, the offense could look different.

Offensively, the Ravens are reliant on the ground game but with the questions at quarterback, they continue to look for some consistency there. They rank seventh in the league in rushing yards per game and with the league's fourth-best scoring offense, this group remains dangerous. Lamar Jackson (12 touchdowns, 5 interceptions) will need to take better care of the ball going forward but as one of the most explosive players in the league, it remains to be seen how the Giants can contain him.

The defensive side of things is where concerns have continued to rise this season for the Ravens. They rank 28th in the league in total defense and with the 32nd-ranked passing defense, they have struggled against some of the league's more talented wide receiver cores. With the Giants centered on the ground themselves, the secondary might not haunt Baltimore in this one. The pass rush has been far less effective this season than past seasons and if they can't pressure New York's backfield, it could be a struggle.
