Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 12-17-2022

Baltimore will likely be without star quarterback Lamar Jackson for the second straight game when the Ravens face Cleveland in an AFC North battle on Saturday. They found a way to get past Pittsburgh without Jackson last week, escaping with a 16-14 win. Cleveland had its two-game winning streak snapped in a 23-10 loss at Cincinnati its last time out.

Baltimore blew several big leads during its 3-3 start to the season, but it has done a better job finishing off games since then. The Ravens have won six of their last seven games, with their lone loss coming in a 28-27 final at Jacksonville when the Jaguars won on a late two-point conversion. They have bounced back from that loss with a pair of wins over Denver and Pittsburgh, although they came by a combined three points. Baltimore is currently tied with Cincinnati atop the AFC North standings, holding the tiebreaker by virtue of its 19-17 win on Oct. 9.

The Ravens will face Cincinnati again in Week 18 on a game that could decide the winner of the division. For now, Baltimore will likely be trying to take care of business without star quarterback Lamar Jackson. He was a non-participant at practice for the fifth straight time on Wednesday and is trending towards missing his second consecutive game. Backup Tyler Huntley took over last week before having to exit due to a concussion, but he has returned to practice and only needs to receive clearance from an independent neurologist to exit the protocol. Baltimore comes into this game ranked No. 14 in the NFL offensively, averaging 347.0 yards per game. It will be facing a Cleveland defense that is No. 17 (343.8).
