The Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees will play the third of four games in the Bronx on Wednesday night. The two teams are currently positioned in second and third place in the AL East Division. The pitching matchup on Wednesday night will feature Orioles righty Dean Kremer (8-4, 5.04) while the Yankees will start righty Randy Vazquez (1-1, 1.74) and will likely turn the game into a bullpen affair. The Baltimore Orioles come into this critical series with the Yankees looking to hold off the Bombers in the AL East Division standings. The Orioles dropped two of three games to the Twins at home over the weekend, saving themselves from being swept on Sunday with a 2-1 win. On Monday night in game one of this four-game series with the Yankees, the Orioles fell 6-3 after jumping out to a 3-0 lead. The Orioles had 12 hits in the game but left eight runners on base and struck out 11 times. On Tuesday afternoon, the Orioles lost their second straight game in the series, 8-4. Baltimore has now dropped four out of their last five games.

The Orioles will give the ball to Dean Kremer on Wednesday night against the Yankees. Kremer comes into this game with an 8-4 record in 17 starts this season, including seven quality starts.
