The SEC will be in action on Saturday as two of the best teams do battle in Knoxville as the Tennessee Volunteers host the Auburn Tigers. The Auburn Tigers are still in the mix for the SEC regular season title as the season winds down. More importantly, a strong finish could propel the Tigers into a top two spot in one of the four regions of the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers ended a two-game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 94-73 win over Georgia at home. Johni Broome led the way with a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds in the win. Allen Flanigan contributed with 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting. Wendell Green Jr. and K.D. Johnson rounded out the double-digit scoring with 18 points and 13 points respectively.
“That was a really good team effort tonight,” Auburn coach Bruce Pearl said of the Tigers' season-high point total. “A lot of guys contributed. Great balance tonight.”

The Tigers come in, despite the 94 points on Wednesday, as just the seventh highest scoring team in the SEC. They are fourth in field goal percentage but just 12th in 3pt shooting. Auburn is seventh in turnovers in the SEC. Nationally, Auburn is an impressive 39th in scoring defense. In addition, the Tigers are 15th nationally in opposing team field goal percentage and seventh in 3pt defense. Auburn is sixth in the SEC in total rebounding.
