The Auburn Tigers will head up to Knoxville to face the Tennessee Volunteers in SEC play from Tennessee leads the all-time series, 79-44, but Auburn has won six of the last seven meetings. Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl has dominated the matchup during his time at both schools, posting a 5-2 record with Tennessee against the Tigers, and going 8-4 with Auburn versus the Vols.

Auburn improved to 17-5 after defeating Georgia at home. The Tigers put together their highest offensive output of the season, and beat the Bulldogs by 21 points.Auburn is scoring 72.7 points per game, while allowing ppg, and shooting 43.6% from the floor.

Auburn avoided a three-game skid with the win over UGA, but they’ve got a tough stretch of play over the next two weeks that could make or break atop the conference. The Tigers are 7-2 in SEC play, with a 4-3 road record. Auburn is led by the inside-outside pairing of Wendell Green Jr. and Johni Broome. Green, a 5’11 guard, has scored 16 points or more in six of the last eight games, and he leads Auburn in scoring (13.8) and assists (4.4). Broome, a 6’10 forward, had a glass cleaning 18-rebound outing against Georgia, and he’s averaging 13.6 ppg and a team-lead 8.9 rpg. Two-year starter Jaylin Williams (10.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg) joins him up front.
