The Washington Wizards will host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday in an Eastern Conference battle. This will be a rematch from Wednesday's game that the Hawks won 122-120 in Washington to even the season series. The Hawks took the first meeting of the season in Atlanta 119-116 on February 28.
Coming into Friday, the Atlanta Hawks are 8th in the Eastern Conference standings, 1.5 games behind Miami and 1.5 games ahead of Toronto. Advancing to the first round of the playoffs without participating in the Play-In Tournament will be difficult as the Hawks are 4.5 games behind the Nets for the 6th seed.

On the season, Atlanta is 29-37 against the spread overall, and has a 38-28 over/under record. Trae Young leads the team with 26.7 ppg and 10.1 apg, followed by DeJounte Murray with 21.0 ppg and 1.5 spg. In road games, Atlanta is 15-20 straight-up, but they have failed to cover in five of their last six games away from State Farm Arena.
Wednesday, the Hawks beat the Wizards by two points as a three-point favorite. In the victory, Atlanta shot 52.9% (45-85) from the floor, 41.4% (12-29) from three, and 76.9% (20-26) from the three-point line. Young led the way with 28 points and 10 assists, on 11 for 14 shooting from the floor.
