The Hawks enter this matchup 1-0 in the preseason after beating the Bucks 123-113 in the first ever NBA game in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. Atlanta's offense looked impressive, making 54.7% of their shots leading to the win.
The Atlanta Hawks added all-star SG Dejounte Murray over the summer, in hopes to take pressure off of Trey Young needing to do so much offensively. Murray shot 69.2% from the field, leading Atlanta with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in his first game as a Hawk. Trey Young and De'Andre Hunter helped in doing the bulk of the scoring for Atlanta. Trey Young ended the game with 22 points and De'Andre Hunter ended with 17 points.
The Milwaukee Bucks come into this game 0-2 this preseason, after losing the first two matchups against Memphis and Atlanta. In the loss to Atlanta, the Bucks started well and led the first quarter by a point before letting the Hawks establish defense.
