The Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls duke it out at the United Center on Monday night.

The Atlanta Hawks have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their five-game win streak halted by the Hornets in a 122-118 loss on Saturday. Dejounte Murray led the team with 26 points on 11 of 20 shooting, DeAndre Hunter added 25 points while Trae Young tallied 25 points with 12 assists. As a team, the Hawks shot 54 percent from the field and 11 of 25 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 65 points in the first half to lead by as many as 19 points, but they never put the Hornets away and it cost them in the second half where the Hornets poured in 73 points to snatch the game from them in the end.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after routing the Pistons in a 126-108 win on Thursday. Zach LaVine led the team with 30 points on 10 of 20 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 26 points with nine rebounds and five assists while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 16 points, 15 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 54 percent from the field and seven of 23 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 31 points in the first quarter to take the early lead and they never looked back, outscoring the Pistons in every quarter in a clinical victory.
