They are facing a Washington pitching staff that is No. 29 with an ERA of 4.96. Bryce Elder is expected to start for Atlanta on Monday after allowing one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out six across 3.2 innings against Washington last Wednesday. He got a spot start after Spencer Strider had his start pushed back due to an oblique issue. Elder has been in Triple-A for most of the season, but he has a 3.38 ERA across 40 innings with Atlanta.
