The Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins face off on Friday in an MLB showdown at LoanDepot Park.
The Braves come into this game with a 66-46 record overall and they are coming off two straight wins against the Boston Red Sox. The offense has scored 17 runs total over the last two games and even though the pitching hasn’t been exactly good, the offense has found success. The Braves are averaging 4.81 runs per game which is 4th best in the league. Austin Riley has had qute the season hitting 30 home runs and driving in 74 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Miami Marlins who sit with a 50-61 record overall and this season has been very disappointing. Coming into this game the Marlins have lost two games in a row, but on Thursday they were able to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-0. The Marlins offense has been an issue this season averaging 3.8 runs per game which is 26th in the league. Jazz Chisholm played well to start the season, but he is still dealing with a back injury and is on the 60-day injured list.
