The Brentford Bees host the Arsenal Gunners on Sept. 18 for the third Premier League match between these two teams. They split the previous two meetings. Arsenal won 2-1 at home in February after being shut out at Brentford, 2-0, in August 2021.
The Gunners (5-0-1) sit atop the Premier League table with 15 points after losing their first match of the season Sept. 4 at Manchester United, 3-1. Manchester City is just one point back at 4-2-0.
Brentford is 2-3-1, good for eighth in the league behind Liverpool. The Bees beat Leeds United, 5-2, at home on Sept. 3. Ivan Toney scored three times in under an hour of play for the hat trick. '
