The Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen scored enough to hit the Over for the first time since 2005 last season. However, oddsmakers aren't expecting many points this week, as the total opened at 28.5.
The Black Knights have won three games in a row, while the Midshipmen lost to the SMU Mustangs 59-14 their last time out. With both teams in the top 16 in rushing yards per game, should we expect another low-scoring affair?

Army vs. Navy prediction: Week 15
When Armed Forces teams meet, all season-long statistics can go out the window. Earlier this season, the Black Knights handed the Air Force Falcons a 23-3 loss, while the Midshipmen fell 17-6 to that same team. The Falcons ended the season averaging 26.3 points per game, while both teams allowed over 25 per game this year.
The main reason why these games always seem to go Under is because all these teams do is run the ball. The Black Knights are third in the country in rushing attempts per game, while the Midshipmen rank fifth. Additionally, each team is averaging fewer than 20 passing attempts per game.
The clock will run all game long, so the only way this goes Over is if one team finds a way to exploit a weakness of the opposing defense. However, both teams are so used to seeing their opponents' style of play in practice that it's hard to imagine any consistency from either offensive unit.
The easiest way to compare these two teams is to look at what they did against the Falcons. They each held a team averaging over 266 rushing yards per game to fewer than 160. That shows just how built these defenses are to handle the triple-option. Though last year's game broke a streak of 16 straight Unders, the game also went to double overtime. Expect a new Under streak to start on Saturday.

We don't anticipate this line to move much, but the FanDuel number should drop before kickoff. Because of that, there may be a chance to get Under 28 or 27.5 for a price better than -110. We'd wait until that number drops at FanDuel before wagering, just in case the price is significantly better than what's offered elsewhere.

The total opened at 28.5. It stayed at FanDuel but dropped to 27.5 at other best sportsbooks. Despite the history of this rivalry, 55% of bettors are backing the Over. Because the public supports the Over, don't expect this number to move much before kickoff.
