Two SEC squads with completely different outlooks are meeting for the only time in the regular season when the Arkansas Razorbacks (15-7, 11-10-1 ATS, 4-5 SEC) play the South Carolina Gamecocks (8-14, 10-12-0 ATS, 1-8 SEC). Arkansas has won the last two meetings, both by double digits. This game will take place in Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, and tipoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST.
The Razorbacks have won their last three conference games as they edge toward .500 in the SEC. Their only loss in their last four was a tight one to #17 Baylor in the SEC/Big12 challenge. KenPom ranks Arkansas very favorably, as they are 20th in the nation by their metrics. Bracketology currently has Arkansas slated as an 11-seed and as one of the last four byes for the NCAA tournament. A loss here would be disastrous for their tournament hopes and they are 0-5 on the road this season.
Their last game was an 81-70 victory over Texas A&M, and the Razorbacks put on a show in front of their home crowd. Arkansas had 13 blocks and shot 50.0% from the floor. They also had a bunch of highlight dunks, including this one by Ricky Council IV, who led the team with 19 points.

Arkansas' offense doesn't excel at shooting from beyond the arc, only hitting 30.8% of them, but they are dangerous nonetheless. They are second in the SEC in team shooting percentage, hitting 47.4% of their shots. That's the 45th-highest percentage in the country. They average 74.8 points per game, fourth in the conference this season.
Despite playing a higher tempo, the Razorbacks only allow 65.3 points per game, only fifth in the SEC but 62nd in the nation this season. Their opponents shoot 40.9% from the floor, 52nd in the country, and only 31.2% on threes which is 64th. Both of those numbers are only seventh in the SEC.
