The Arkansas State Red Wolves host their state rival, Arkansas Little Rock Trojans on Thursday. Arkansas State of the Sun Belt Conference is 7-5 this season while the Trojans of the Ohio Valley Conference are 3-8. Arkansas State won the last meeting between these two teams in 2021. Tipoff is at 3:00 p.m. EST at First National Arena in Jonesboro, Ark.
The Little Rock Trojans of the Ohio Valley Conference are 3-8 on the season. They are ranked No. 326th in the nation, out of 363 Division 1 teams. They have not shied away from tough competition, as they have losses against the likes of Indiana and Memphis, but wins have been few and far between. Their lone wins have come against Jackson State, something called Philander Smith, and Central Arkansas.
Five Trojans finished in double figures, led by double-doubles from Myron Gardner and DeAntoni Gordon, as a balanced effort paced Little Rock past Central Arkansas in a 75-66 win at the Jack Stephens Center.
