Arkansas at Alabama Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/25/23

The Arkansas Razorbacks will head down to Tuscaloosa to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in SEC play from the Coleman Coliseum on ESPN2. Alabama leads the all-time series, 35-31, after winning the last two meetings.

Arkansas moved to 19-9 after beating Georgia in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks dominated the Bulldogs in both halves, and they’d win by 32 points, 97-65. Arkansas scores 75.0 points per game, while allowing 65.5 ppg, and shooting 48.6% from the field.

Arkansas’ next two road contests could turn out to be make or break for their bubble case. The Razorbacks are 8-7 in SEC play, with a 2-6 road record. Ricky Council IV has scored a game-high 22 points in the win over Georgia, and he leads the Hogs in scoring (16.6). Freshman guard Anthony Black scored a team-high 23 points in the recent win over Mississippi State,  and he’s averaging a nice line of 12.9 ppg, 5.1 rpg and a team-lead 4.4 apg. Veteran guard Davonte Davis double-doubled in the first meeting with Alabama, and he’s up to 10.5 ppg and 4.1 rpg.
