No. 3 Arizona is 5-0 and one of their wins is over No. 8 Duke 78-73 on Nov. 10. In their last game on Nov. 19, they crushed Texas Arlington 101-56 at home. Arizona went 28-7 last season so it should be no surprise that they are off to a 5-0 start even with just one returning starter in Omar Ballo (7-0, 260). That's because they added former North Carolina guard Caleb Love (16.7ppg LY) in the transfer portal and sophomore Kylan Boswell (13.8ppg, 64.9 FG%) has been fantastic early on. Love leads the Wildcats with 24 assists, but is shooting just 40.8% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point line.
When it comes to rebounding, Arizona is dominant as they rank fifth in the nation in rebounding margin at +25. They also have five players averaging 11.4 points to 13.8. Arizona is averaging 99.6 points per game (3rd) and it's amazing that they don't lead the nation in scoring (Arizona & Eastern Ky). They also rank 13th in three-point shoot (41.5%) and 17th in field goal percentage (52.4%). Defensively, they allow just 63 points per game (51st) and 31.7% shooting (184th).
