Arizona State Sun Devils (15-5) vs. Washington Huskies (12-9)

The college hoops betting action continues Thursday, January 26, with the Pac-12 Conference showdown from Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Washington, where the Arizona State Sun Devils and Washington Huskies lock horns for the second time this season. 

Back on January 8, Arizona State beat Washington 73-65 as a 9-point home fave with a total of 137.5 points. The Sun Devils are 2.5-point road favorites this time around, and the totals are listed at 140.5 points.

After grabbing four consecutive wins over Washington State 77-71, Washington 73-65, Oregon 90-73, and Oregon State 74-69, the Arizona State Sun Devils (15-5; 10-10 ATS; 6-3 conf.) have dropped two straight contests against the No. 5 UCLA 74-62 and USC 77-69. They failed to cover a 5-point spread in the Bruins game and upset the home fans as 3.5-point favorites over the Trojans. 

Last Saturday, the Sun Devils trailed the USC Trojans all night long. Arizona State made just 38.5% of its field goals (5-for-22 from deep), whereas USC shot 49.1% from the field (7-for-18 from deep). The Sun Devils posted 17 offensive rebounds and a 14/11 assist-to-turnover ratio, but it wasn’t enough. Junior forward Warren Washington led Arizona State with a line of 21 points, eight rebounds, and a couple of assists, steals, and blocks, while senior guard Desmon d Cambridge had 17 points, four steals, and three dishes. 

According to Bart Torvik, Arizona State ranks 84th in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency (109.0 points per 100 possessions) and 59th in adjusted defensive efficiency (96.9). The Sun Devils are 15th in opposing effective field-goal percentage (44.9%), 90th in offensive rebound percentage (31.5%), and 293rd in defensive rebound percentage (68.3%). They shoot 50.3% from inside the arc (210th) and 32.1% fro m downtown (282nd). Arizona State is No. 55 in the NCAA NET Rankings, while KenPom has the Sun Devils at No. 59.
