The Arizona State Sun Devils (2-5) meet a familiar opponent when they visit the Colorado Buffaloes (1-5) on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Folsom Field in a Pac-12 clash.

The Sun Devils enter the matchup after losing 15-14 to the Stanford Cardinal in their last outing on October 22. Last time out, the Buffaloes lost 42-9 to the Oregon State Beavers. In that matchup with the Cardinal, Emory Jones had 227 yards on 14-of-25 passing (56.0%) for the Devils, with one touchdown and one interception. He also carried the ball nine times for 27 yards. Xazavian Valladay took 18 carries for 76 yards (4.2 yards per carry) and one touchdown, while adding one reception for -4 yards in the passing game. Elijhah Badger led the receiving charge against the Cardinal, catching six passes for 118 yards and one touchdown. J.T. Shrout went 13-for-29 with 206 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions for the Buffs against the Beavers. Jayle Stacks carried the ball eight times for 50 yards (6.3 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Jordyn Tyson registered 92 yards through the air after three catches (on six targets).

The Buffaloes are big, 13-point underdogs in their matchup with the Sun Devils (the game has an over/under of 46.5 points).
