The Arizona Diamondbacks (10-7, 12-5 RL, 8-8-1 O/U) battle the St. Louis Cardinals (7-10, 7-9 RL, 6-9-1 O/U) in the three-game series finale on Wednesday afternoon. The Diamondbacks give the call to Madison Bumgarner. The Cardinals send Jake Woodford to the mound. The Diamondbacks posted a 6-3 win on Monday. 

Madison Bumgarner will be on the hill for the fourth time of the season on Wednesday. Bumgarner has been clobbered. He allowed five runs against the Dodgers in his first start and five runs in five innings against the Marlins last Friday, leading to another loss to dip to 0-2. Josh Rojas has consistently reached base all season. The 28-year-old this baseman is sporting a stellar .347 average with six RBIs and an .868 OPS on the season. Rojas went 4 for 11 against the Cardinals last season and 1 for 4 on Monday. He has six base hits in his last five games. Key reliever Joe Mantiply remains on the IL.
