The two teams are separated by less than five games in the standings with Arizona just ahead of the Rockies. Last weekend, the pair met in Arizona with the Diamondbacks winning two out of the three games. The pitching matchup for game two of this weekend series will feature right-hander Zac Gallen (7-2, 3.12) of the D-Backs taking on Jose Urena (1-3, 4.63) of the Rockies. First pitch is scheduled for 8:10pm EST.

On Friday night in the series opener, the Diamondbacks offense was held in check after scoring three runs in the fourth inning to take a 3-0 lead. A two-run Rockies 7th inning spelled the difference in a 5-3 loss.
