The Coyotes are having a promising season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.31 goals per game with 13 goals in the last three games. Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz, and Logan Cooley have scored 13 goals and 29 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has been great as well. Matias Maccelli, Lawson Crouse, and Nick Bjugstad have combined for 12 goals and 19 assists while defensemen Sean Durzi and J.J. Moser have added seven goals and 13 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.00 goals per game. While Durzi and Moser have combined for 2.4 defensive point shares, the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. The bright spot has been the play of goaltender Karel Vejmelka who has a .906 save percentage and a 3.08 goals-against average on 287 shots with 0.9 goals saved above average.
