Arizona Coyotes (10-15-5) vs. Vegas Golden Knights (22-11-1)

The NHL betting action goes on with a seven-game Wednesday card including the Western Conference showdown from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the Arizona Coyotes and Vegas Golden Knights continue their three-game regular-season series.

Back in November, the Golden Knights defeated the Coyotes 4-1 as massive -400 home favorites. Vegas sits at -270 moneyline odds this time around, and the totals are listed at 6.0 goals.

The Arizona Coyotes are coming off Monday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens. They wrapped up a three-game homestand with the second straight defeat, as the Yotes suffered a 5-2 loss against the Buffalo Sabres this past Saturday.

Arizona outshot Montreal 39-26. The Coyotes took 17 shots toward Sam Montembeault in the first period but went scoreless. The goals came in the second period, and the Yotes had to rally from a one-goal deficit twice. Nick Schmaltz and Matias Maccelli found the back of the net for Arizona, while Karel Vejmelka finished with 23 saves.

“We had a lot of Grade A chances, a lot of O-zone time, but that's why the advanced stats, you don't look at that,” Coyotes coach Andre Tourigny s aid. “It doesn't mean anything. The only thing that matters is the scoreboard at the end of the game.”

Arizona is 26th in the league in goals for (2.77 per game) and 28th in goals against (3.63). The Coyotes are 20-for-102 with the man advantage (25th) and 29-for-126 with the man down (19th). Karel Vejmelka is projected to guard the cage Wednesday in Las Vegas, and the 26-year-old netminder is 9-8-4 with a 3.11 GAA and .910 save percentage this season.
