The Arizona Coyotes earned their third straight victory when they defeated the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, 4-3. That gave the team a sweep of their three-game homestand, as they allowed just three goals total. Now Arizona heads to the road where they have lost their last three games and they are 5-8-2 on the road this season.

Ottawa scored three goals in the first period to jump out to a commanding lead, but Arizona refused to quit, scoring one in the second, then adding three more in the third to earn the victory. Jack McBain had a goal and an assist in the win, including scoring the first goal of the game for the Coyotes.

The Coyotes are 19th in goals per game (3.06), despite a solid power-play that is ranked 12th overall (22.6%). Where Arizona has excelled is between the pipes, where they are 11th overall in goals-against average (2.87). Connor Ingram gave up three goals on the first six shots he faced and was pulled in favor of Karel Vejmelka, who came on and stopped all 16 shots he faced.
