Arizona Coyotes (7-10-3) vs. Los Angeles Kings (12-9-4)

The Arizona Coyotes head to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on the first day of December to start a three-game regular-season series against the Los Angeles Kings, and the puck drop is set at 10:30 PM ET.

The Kings search for their third consecutive win over the Coyotes. Los Angeles opens as a firm -245 moneyline fave with a total of 6.0 goals, while Arizona sits at +218 odds to win straight up.

The Arizona Coyotes are coming off a 4-3 defeat at the Minnesota Wild this past Sunday. It was their second straight loss and the sixth in the Coyotes’ last seven outings. Arizona scored a couple of goals late in the third period to make it a 4-3 game but couldn’t find a way to force overtime. The Yotes took 23 shots toward Marc-Andre Fleury, while Connor Ingram yielded four goals on 29 shots.

“I think the game was fair. I think we didn’t play better than them. We came up short by one goal,” Arizona coach André Tourigny said

Connor Ingram is now 1-5-1 with an ugly 4.02 GAA and .882 save percentage in 2022-23. Karel Vejmelka, who should get the starting call Thursday, is 6-5-2 with a 2.97 GAA, .916 save percentage, and a couple of shutouts this season. Vejmelka has gone 1-2-1 over his last four starts, surrendering 11 goals in the process.

The Coyotes are allowing 3.40 goals per game (21st in the NHL) while scoring just 2.70 in a return (tied-27th) on an 11.1 shooting percentage (tied-6th). They rank 13th in the leagu e in power-play percentage (23.2%) and 16th in penalty-killing percentage (79.8%). Clayton Keller leads the way for the Yotes with seven goals and 14 assists, and he’s accounted for an assist in three straight contests.
