Arizona Coyotes (4-4-0) vs. Anaheim Ducks (5-4-0)
The 2023-24 NHL season continues Wednesday, November 1, with the Arizona Coyotes taking on the Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference showdown at Honda Center in Anaheim, California, with the puck drop at 10:00 PM ET.
Arizona and Anaheim lock horns for the second time this term, and the Coyotes open as -120 moneyline favorites with a total of 6.5 goals. Back in Week 2, Arizona edged Anaheim 2-1 as a -190 home fave, and the game flew under a 6.5-goal line.

The Arizona Coyotes are coming off Monday’s 8-1 dismantling of the Chicago Blackhawks. After two straight losses to the Los Angeles Kings, 6-3 on the road and 5-4 at home, the Yotes put on a show for their fans and trounced the Blackhawks, who took a lead after just 28 seconds of play in the first period.
By the end of the first, the Yotes were up 3-1. Michael Carcone finished the game with a hat-trick and an assist, Jack McBain accounted for a couple of goals and assists, while Alexander Kerfoot distributed three dishes and went plus-4 across 20 shifts.
The Coyotes’ offense has done a surprisingly great job so far this season. Arizona ranks 11th in the league in goals fo r (3.38 per game) while going 9-for-34 with the man advantage (6th in the NHL). On the other side of the puck, the Yotes are eighth in goals against (2.63 per game) and 26th in penalty-killing percentage (74.1%).
Connor Ingram guarded the cage against Chicago and yielded one goal on 30 shots. He’s now 2-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and a .914 save percentage in 2023-24, while Karel Vejmelka is 2-3-0 with a 2.51 GAA and a .926 save percentage. Vejmelka, who patrolled the crease in that 2-1 win over Anaheim, is projected to take the ice on Wednesday night.
