The Arizona Coyotes and Montreal Canadiens face off on Thursday in an NHL showdown at Centre Bell. When these two teams faced off on March 15th it was Arizona that secured the 6-3 victory. 

The Canadiens come into this 2-2-0 record and they were able to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in the last game. The Canadiens scored two runs in the 3rd period to force overtime and then won the game in overtime. Nick Suzuki has had a nice start to the season and in the last game he had eight shots on goal, one goal, and an assist. The defense has been decent, but the offense is ranked 31st in the league, and the defense is going to need to be better in this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Coyotes who sit with a 1-2-0 record overall but they are coming off a big win in the last game. They went on the road against the Toronto Maple Leafs and were able to secure the 4-2 victory. It was two goals late in the 3rd period that was the difference as the Coyotes secured the victory. Arizona on the season is averaging 3.0 goals per game while their defense is giving up 4.67 goals per game. Shayne Gostisbehere has scored two goals and three assists so far this year.
