Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 10-16-2022

Arizona Cardinals (2-3) vs. Seattle Seahawks (2-3)

Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season goes on Sunday, October 16, with the NFC West showdown from Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, so here’s the best Cardinals vs. Seahawks betting pick. Arizona and Seattle meet each other for the first time this year after splitting the last season’s two-game set.

The Cardinals head to Seattle as 3-point favorites. The Seahawks are listed as +125 moneyline underdogs, while the totals sit at 50.5 points.

The Arizona Cardinals (2-3; 3-2 ATS) suffered a 20-17 home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. They managed to cover a 5.5-point spread, but the Cards cannot be happy, as they blew a big chance to hand the Eagles their first loss of the season. Although Arizona never led, the Cardinals had an opportunity to force overtime, but Matt Ammendola missed a 43-yard field goal with 22 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter.

Arizona outgained Philadelphia 363-357 in total yards, but the Cardinals kept the ball in possession for just 25:21. Kyler Murray went 28-of-42 for 250 yards, a touchdown, and an interception, Marquise Brown posted eight catches for 78 yards and a TD, while James Conner added 55 yards on nine carries.

“We've got a lot of a season left,” Murray said. “We've got a great team, great locker room. I am confident in everybody in that locker room. We've got to get it together. Right now, we're not playing complimentary football.”

The Cardinals returned to the losing track after a nice 26-16 road victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. Kyler Murray has tossed for 1,241 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions so far this season while carrying the pigskin 28 times for 133 yards and a couple of scores. James Conner leads the way for Arizona’s backfield with 54 totes for 200 yards and a TD, and the Cardinals’ offense ranks 17th in the NFL in rushing yards per game with 114.4.

Arizona is scoring 21.0 points per game (18th in the league) while surrendering 24.6 in a return (22nd). DeAndre Hopkins is still serving his six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy. Both James Conner and center Rodney Hudson didn’t participate in Wednesday’s practice and are questionable to play in Week 6.
