The (5-4) Appalachian State Mountaineers visit the (5-4) Marshall Thundering Herd this Saturday for a Sun Belt showdown. The Thundering Herd defeated Old Dominion 12-0 last week, while the Mountaineers lost 35-28 to Coastal Carolina. App State is favored by one point, and the game total is 47.5 points.

Appalachian State boasts a top-25 scoring offense, averaging 35.9 points per game. The Mountaineers average 195.6 rushing yards, 253.8 passing yards, and 449.3 total yards per game. Chase Brice, who started at Clemson and previously transferred to Duke, is in his second season as the starting quarterback (2,200 passing yards, 24 TDs, and 5 INTs).
