Appalachian State vs. Coastal Carolina odds, tips and betting trends

Sun Belt opponents meet when the Appalachian State Mountaineers (5-3) and the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (7-1) play on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Brooks Stadium.

The Mountaineers played the Robert Morris Colonials in their last game, winning 42-3. Their last time out, the Chanticleers knocked off the Marshall Thundering Herd 24-13. Chase Brice threw for 185 yards, with four touchdowns and one interception on 17-of-23 passing (73.9%) for the Mountaineers in that matchup against the Colonials. Nate Noel carried the ball five times for 88 yards (17.6 yards per carry). He also had one reception for five yards. DaShaun Davis had three receptions for 57 yards (19.0 per catch) and one touchdown against the Colonials. Grayson McCall went 13-for-24 with 121 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Chanticleers against the Thundering Herd. He rushed 11 times for 12 yards and one touchdown. Reese White carried the ball six times for 43 yards. Jared Brown collected six catches for 57 yards (on nine targets).

The Chanticleers should compete as underdogs (+1.5) in their matchup with the Mountaineers (the game has a total of 61 points).
