We finished the NFL's regular season with an 8.70-unit profit with our anytime touchdown scorer predictions, and we started Wild Card Weekend 2-0 with our picks based on the best NFL odds.
We adjusted our strategy slightly for our anytime touchdown scorer predictions as the NFL's Wild Card Weekend started to focus on value odds for top players. And the results were excellent.
Through Saturday's opening two games, we are 2-0 with our playoff picks with a profit of 3.12 units. We didn't even need to sweat as Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins and Kansas City Chiefs rookie wideout Rashee Rice both scored the first touchdown of their respective games on Saturday.
If only we had done a first touchdown scorer parlay.
Our action continues with Sunday's two matchups featuring the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys, and the Los Angele s Rams and Detroit Lions.
To accompany our NFL player props & best bets and as part of our NFL predictions for Wild Card Weekend, here are our best anytime touchdown scorer predictions, based on the odds from our best NFL betting sites.
Anytime touchdown scorer predictions Wild Card Weekend: Sunday
The odds for CeeDee Lamb to score a touchdown as the Cowboys' clear-cut No. 1 receiver are juiced as much as -170 via DraftKings on Sunday. While the -145 odds via FanDuel look good in comparison, we're still going to aim a bit higher with our touchdown scorer prediction for Saturday's opening matchup.
Veteran Brandin Cooks is the Cowboys' unquestioned No. 2 target in the passing game, and he scored in three straight games entering the postseason. He was targeted eight times in each of his past two outings. Still, he's projected for a modest 0.3 touchdowns on Sunday so we& #39;re rushing to this +230 odds offering from FanDuel with BetMGM offering the worst odds of +160 on a Cooks anytime touchdown.
The Packers also enter the postseason having allowed four passing touchdowns (plus one rushing score) to opposing receivers across their last four games. In that span, Green Bay has allowed 10.38 yards per target to the position. Cooks averaged 8.1 yards per target and 12.2 yards per reception this season.
For more on this matchup, see our Packers vs. Cowboys prediction, Packers-Cowboys NFL player props, and CeeDee Lamb NFL player props.
Former Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp scored a touchdown in four of five games before sitting out the team's regular-season finale for rest. That touchdown run came while playing 100% of the offensive snaps in two of four games and twice seeing 10-plus targets during that run.
Kupp is given a 50% implied probabil ity of finding the end zone against the Lions on Sunday. That's higher than rookie Puka Nacua's 40% implied probability. However, the best anytime touchdown scorer odds we can get for Nacua are +120 via FanDuel, while DraftKings is gifting us this +125 offering for Kupp to hit paydirt once again.
Nacua led the Rams in all meaningful statistics during the regular season while playing five more games than Kupp. With the playoffs here and the Rams set as 3-point underdogs on the road, I'm expecting QB Matthew Stafford to lean on his more experienced (and accomplished) receiver against a Lions pass defense that allowed seven touchdowns to receivers over the final four weeks of the regular season.
For more on this matchup see C Jackson Cowart's Rams vs. Lions prediction, Rams-Lions NFL player props, and Philip Wood's Puka Nacua NFL player props.
DraftKings promo for Rams vs. Lions
DraftKings is offering all bettors outside of Ontario a 30% boost for any one NFL bet on Sunday (max bet $10).
This can bring Kupp's anytime touchdown odds from +125 to +162!

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions Wild Card Weekend: Monday
Weather remains a major theme of our Steelers vs. Bills prediction for Monday and that has many looking to Buffalo Bills running back James Cook as an anytime touchdown scorer thanks to the multiple ways in which he can impact a game.
Cook had just two rushing touchdowns this season, but he had 1,122 yards on the ground while adding four receiving scores on 445 yards through the passing game. With the expected cold temperatures and gusty winds in Buffalo, QB Josh Allen should be leaning heavily on Cook.
While the Steelers allowed just four rushing touchdow ns to running backs through the regular season, they gave up four receiving scores to the position. That helps project Cook for 0.5 total touchdowns between the two attacks. That 50% implied probability should equate to even-money +100 odds but we're able to secure a more profitable +145 ticket via FanDuel.
Veteran receiver Julio Jones was signed mid-season by the Eagles and his three touchdowns in just 11 games were his highest in a single season since 2020 with the Atlanta Falcons. Now, he's expected to take on an expanded role in the final game of Wild Card Weekend with Eagles receiver A.J. Brown inactive due to injury.
That expanded role has Jones projected for 0.2 touchdowns on Monday. The +400 odds offered by Caesars represent the lowest number at which we should make this bet based on the 20% implied probability. DraftKings set the market low with +235 odds, so we're more than happy to make this wager at the +400 numbe r.
We've played it relatively conservative with our anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Wild Card Weekend, but we can finish with a big payday to complement our Eagles vs. Buccaneers NFL player props.
Anytime touchdown scorer predictions Wild Card Weekend: Saturday
Rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice firmly established himself as the Kansas City Chiefs' No. 1 wideout over 17 weeks before sitting out Week 18 for rest. He was coming off a season-high 127 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 and led the team's position group in snap share during five of the final six weeks of the campaign.
Rice plays a Miami Dolphins team that surrendered 10.28 yards per target and a 69.6% catch rate to wide receivers over the final four weeks of the regular season. That's led to Rice being projected for 0.4 touchdowns to lead all Chiefs receivers on Saturday night.
Third-year Houston Texans receiver Nico Collins has stepped nearly seamlessly into the hole in the team's receiving corps after Tank Dell suffered a season-ending injury. Collins has topped 190 receiving yards in two of the five games since Dell went down in Week 13 while scoring three touchdowns. He also caught all nine of his targets from QB C.J. Stroud for a season-high 195 yards during a must-win game in Week 18.
Stroud and Collins now get to show off at home against a wild-card Cleveland Browns team entering the weekend with serious injury issues defensively, including top cornerback Denzel Ward (questionable, knee).
Collins' 0.4 projected touchdowns for Saturday are the most of any Texans pass-catcher. Our odds converter translates that to odds of +150, but Caesars stands out among our NFL prop betting sites with a market-high offering of +162. Compared to BetMGM's +105 odds on the same b et, that's a difference of $5.70 on a winning $10 wager.
