Anaheim Ducks vs. St. Louis Blues Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-21-2022

NFL Round Table Show

The Anaheim Ducks face the St. Louis Blues with both teams heading in opposite directions to start the season. The Ducks have a 5-12-1 record and with two losses in a row, have the worst record in the Pacific Division. The Blues have a 9-8 record and with six wins in a row, have leaped into the middle of the Central Division. Both teams are looking to improve in the Western Conference and the upcoming game should be a good one as a result.

The Ducks are having an awful season with their offense struggling and scoring only 2.61 goals per game. Troy Terry, Trevor Zegras, and Ryan Strome have scored 20 goals and 27 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the unit has been awful. Only four skaters have scored five goals or more while only six skaters have scored six goals or more and opposing defenses can eliminate the hapless offense as a result.

The offense has struggled but the defense is one of the worst in the NHL, allowing 4.33 goals per game including nine goals in the last two games. Dmitry Kulikov and Cam Fowler have led the top two pairings but the rest of the unit has been awful, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. Furthermore, goaltender John Gibson is having a rough season in the net with a .889 save percentage and a 4.31 goals-against average on 495 shots.
