The Anaheim Ducks and Vegas Golden Knights face off on Friday in an NHL showdown at T-Mobile Arena. When these two teams faced off in March it was Vegas that secured the 5-4 victory.
The Ducks ccome into this game with a 1-5-1 record overall and they are coming off a loss in the last game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Coming into the third period the game was 2-2, but the defense collapsed and they gave up two goals. Troy Terry did have a nice game finishing with one goal and one assist. The offense for the Ducks has been a problem and is something that is going to need to be a lot better in this game. Troy Terry has been the top player for the Ducks scoring four goals and adding five assists. Trevor Zegras has also scored four goals and added an assist.
Vegas comes into this game with a 6-2-0 record overall and they are coming off another win in the last game. Vegas scored four goals against San Jose and that was enough to secure the victory. Phil Kessel had one shot and three shots on goal. Vegas offense has been decent, but the defense has been the strength. The Golden Knights are averaging 3.25 goals per game while their defense is giving up 2.0 goals per game. Chandler Stephenson has scored three goals and four assists.
