On Monday against the Calgary Flames the defense was elite giving up only a goal and that led to the 2-1 victory in a shootout. Montreal is averaging 2.86 goals while their defense is giving up 3.46 goals per game. The offense is ranked 25th, and they need more offensive production here. Nick Suzuki has scored 14 goals and added 15 assists so far this season.
