American League at National League 7/19/22 MLB All Star Game Picks and Prediction

The MLB All-Star Game is here and takes place on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium. In 2021 it was the American League that won 5-2. The American League has won eight straight Midsummer Classic.

The National League roster will be managed by Brian Snitker who lead the Atlanta Braves to the World Series last year. The National League starters are headlined by two Dodgers, Trea Turner, and Mookie Betts. Rounding out the outfield will be Ronald Acuna Jr and Joc Pederson, two guys who have a ton of flair to their game. Catcher Wilson Contreras, 1st baseman Paul Goldschmidt, second baseman Jeff McNeil, and third baseman Manny Machado, round out the starters. Bryce Harper and Jazz Chisholm were both also supposed to start but will miss the game because of injury. Some key reserves include Juan Soto, Pete Alsono and the team’s legacy player is Albert Pujols. Some of the pitchers for NL include Sandy Alcantara, Clayton Kershaw, Tony Gonsolin, Joe Musgrove, and Tyler Anderson.

For the American League, they will be managed by Dusty Baker. There are two Yankees starters with Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, and two Blue Jays starters with Alejandro Kirk and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The other starters for the American League include the second baseman Andres Giminez, third baseman Rafael Devers, shortstop Tim Anderson, outfield Byron Buxton, and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani. Jose Altuve and Mike Trout were both supposed to be starters but will miss the game because of injuries. Some other key reserves include Luis Arraez, Jose Ramirez, and J.D. Martinez. Some of the key pitchers for the American League is Shane McClanahan, Nestor Cortes, Martin Perez, Ohtani, Gregory Soto, and Liam Hendricks.
