The Falcons head into the matchup after winning 48-17 over the Northern Iowa Panthers in their last outing on September 3. The Buffaloes are coming off of a loss to the TCU Horned Frogs by the score of 38-13. Against the Panthers, Haaziq Daniels led the Falcons with 109 yards on 3-of-6 passing (50.0%) for one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 12 times for 107 yards and one rushing touchdown. Brad Roberts totaled 114 rushing yards on eight carries (14.3 yards per carry), scoring one touchdown on the ground. Dane Kinamon led the receiving charge against the Panthers, catching one pass for 80 yards and one touchdown. He also had two carries for 77 yards and one touchdown. J.T. Shrout went 13-for-23 with 157 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Buffs against the Horned Frogs. Brendon Lewis carried the ball eight times for 42 yards (5.3 yards per attempt). Daniel Arias caught four passes on six targets for 66 yards (16.5 yards per reception).

The Buffaloes are big, 17-point underdogs against the Falcons (the game’s total is 45.5 points).
