Abraham Ancer U.S. Open Prediction 2023

Abraham Ancer hasn't been much of a standout across two PGA To ur events in 2022-23, finishing T39 at The Masters and missing the cut at the PGA Championship. He's found much more success on the LIV Golf scene, though, posting a top-30 finish in five of his seven invitationals played so far.

More 2023 U.S. Open betting content from The Duel:

Of course, LIV Golf features a smaller pool of players, so considering those results with that in mind is important. Ancer has never finished higher than T49 at the U.S. Open and is coming off a missed cut his last time out in 2021. That doesn't exactly create optimism for bettors interested in backing him.

Without the results to back up his talent, Ancer is a golfer to avoid this weekend. He could easily make the cut by leaning on his ability to gain an edge with powerful strikes off the tee or easily miss the cut thanks to his subpar approach game. There's not much of a middle ground to be found here.
