Abilene Christian at Seattle Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/1/23

The Abilene Christian Wildcats will head to the northwest and face the Seattle Redhawks in WAC action from the Climate Pledge Arena.

Abilene Christian moved to 11-11 after beating Utah Tech at home. The Wildcats used a strong second half to take down the Trailblazers by five points. ACU is scoring 73.7 points per game, while allowing 67.1 ppg, and shooting 46.2% from the field.

Abilene Christian no longer represents the wrecking crew that ended the Texas’ Longhorns season in the round of 64 two years ago, and they’ll have their work cut out here in Washington. The Wildcats are 3-6 in WAC play, and they’ve posted a 2-6 record. ACU plays collectively, but leading scorer Immanuel Allen missed the win over Utah Tech, so his status will be worth monitoring prior to tip off here. Sophomore guard Ali Abdul Dibba led the team with 19 points against the Trailblazers to bring his average to 9.6 ppg. Veteran guard Damien Daniels, one of the final holdovers from the 2021 tournament run, added 19 points versus UT, and he’s up to 7.9 ppg and a team-lead 3.7 apg.
