Boise State Broncos (6-3) vs. Nevada Wolf Pack (2-7)

The Boise State Broncos head to Mackay Stadium in Reno, Nevada, to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack in Week 11 of the 2022 college football season. The Mountain West Conference action is heating up, and the Broncos hope to get revenge for last year’s 41-31 home defeat to the Wolf Pack.

Boise State opens as a massive 21-point road fave. Nevada sits at +890 moneyline odds, and the totals are listed at 47.5 points.

The Boise State Broncos (6-3; 4-4-1 ATS; 5-0 conf.) suffered a disappointing 31-28 home loss to the BYU Cougars in Week 10. The Broncos allowed a thumping 532 total yards and kept the ball in possession for only 23:59, putting an end to a four-game winning streak. It was a proper back-and-forth battle, as we saw six lead changes, and both teams accounted for a couple of touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

“We're still in a position to accomplish our goals,” Boise State coach Andy Avalos said. “We set out to protect the Blue tonight, but we didn't get it done. But we can learn a lot from it.”

Freshman QB Taylen Green went 17-of-23 for 220 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Junior RB George Holani pos ted 20 carries for 73 yards and a pair of scores, while sophomore wideout Latrell Caples had five receptions for 81 yards and a TD.

Taylen Green has thrown for 1,081 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions so far this season while rushing 44 times for 277 yards and five touchdowns. George Holani is leading the way for the Broncos with 874 yards from scrimmage and 11 scores.

Boise State leans on its defense, and four guys have accounted for three or more sacks thus far. The Broncos are yielding just 18.9 points per contest (17th in the nation) on 265.2 total yards (4th) and 3.0 per carry (tied-5th).
