Minnesota Wild (5-5-1) vs. Los Angeles Kings (7-6-1)

The Minnesota Wild head to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday night to face off against the Los Angeles Kings for the second time this season. Back on October 15, the Kings outlasted the Wild 7-6 as +150 road dogs in a proper firecracker at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The Kings are listed as slight -102 home dogs this time around. Minnesota is a -108 moneyline fave, while the totals sit at 6.5 goals.

The Minnesota Wild are coming off a 4-0 home loss to the Seattle Kraken this past Thursday. Playing as -165 moneyline favorites, the Wild failed to extend their winning streak to three games and couldn’t find the back of the net for the first time this season. Minnesota took just 22 shots toward Martin Jones while allowing three goals in the second period after a goalless first.

“We know that they’re a hard-working team and they just battle and compete kind of from the top down. We didn’t match that whatsoever tonight,” Wild defenseman Matt Dumba said

Marc-Andre Fleury yielded four goals on just 23 shots against Seattle. The 37-year-old goalie is now 5-2-1 with a 3.41 GAA and .888 save percentage, while Filip Gustavsson is 0-3-0 with a 3.93 GAA and .878 SV%.

Minnesota ranks 25th in the league in goals against (3.64 per contest) and 17th in goals for (3.09). The Wild are 10-for-38 with the man advantage (6th), but their shooting percentage of 9.3 is the tenth-worst in the league. Minnesota has injury worries ahead of its three-game road trip, as four wingers are on the shelf including Brandon Duhaime and Marcus Foligno, who have combined for six points so far this season.
