Texas-Arlington at Oklahoma State – 11/7/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The UT-Arlington Mavericks will cross the border and head up to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys from Gallagher-Iba Arena this Monday evening. Oklahoma State has dominated this series over the course of time, holding an all-time series lead of 13-1, after a 43-point victory last Fall.

UT-Arlington went 11-18 (7-10) last season, and finished ninth in the Sun Belt standings. The Mavs failed to record a winning record for the third season in a row, and they’ll look to regroup after returning to the WAC. Greg Young will enter his second season on the sidelines after going 11-18 in first year in Arlington.

The Mavericks will look to replace their top three leading scorers, including stud guard David Azore, who led UTA with 19.8 ppg. Peyton Castro’s return to the lineup from injury will be helpful, along with the arrival of Aaron Cash over from Texas A&M. It’s unclear as of now who will replace Patrick Nwamba’s production up front as of now.
